Why Doesn't Jupiter In The 10th House Of The Solar Return Always Mean Advancement In Career?

Cara Georgiana, io volevo anche discutere sulle aspettative riguardanti la decima = crescita professionale. Con una decima casa forte, spesso e volentieri a livello professionale non si hanno delle crescite importanti come ci si aspetta. A riguardo, ho trovato più risposte positive a livello professionale, se si riesce a mettere giove o venere nella sesta casa. questo perchè la decima riguarda l'emancipazione e l'autonomia che può esprimersi a 360°. Ad esempio superare alcune paure, andare a vivere da soli, ecc ecc.. Poi che questi possano essere utili anche a livello lavorativo è un altro discorso. Credo che si debba fare attenzione a proclamare vittorie ed crescite professionali solo con una decima forte. Ovviamente se si riesce a piazzare Sole, Giove o Venere al MC allora le possibilità di uno sviluppo professionale positivo sono più ampie. Per questa domanda, rispondero' solo in inglese, perché il mio italiano non è ancora perfetto, e allora avrei bisogno di più tempo per scrivere tutte le frase correttamente e ora mi trovo tarde nella notte :)
You have raised an important and interesting subject. It is true that whenever people see 10th house values in their Solar Return chart, they expect to get advancement in the profession. 10th house values could refer to either having important planets in the 10th house of the SR or having a 10th house ASR (Ascendant of the SR).
The truth is that we are human beings with a limited perspective on what is really good for us. We don't always see the bigger picture. We might be too focused on certain things that we desire at a given moment, like wanting too much to be promoted at work.
So, we don't realize that our life would not truly be improved by a promotion at work (we might just get overworked afterwards), but instead it would be improved, for example, by being able to properly breathe during our sleep. Many people suffer of sleep apnea and this seriously affects their health in time. But so many people don't pay attention to this ailment and aim for other things, generally of the social-material type. This is just an example to show how most of the time we might not be able to see what it would really improve our life, because we do not have the bigger picture outlook.
I've also seen people who struggle for years in different professions and careers without significant results. And when this 10th house values chart turns out, they just quit what they were doing and take on their real passions and callings in life. So, if you see a lawyer becoming a hairdresser during a 10th house values Solar Return, do not think that he was downgraded by the celestials or that they were mean to him, by not allowing him to get ahead and become famous and win many court cases. It happened so, because, being a hairdresser, might be his true calling and mission.
For example, a Jupiter in the 10th house of the SR of a man, might not necessarily mean that he will become famous or well known for his work, but he might resolve to move out of his parents house and live independently. And the trick here is that the parents were holding him down, by constantly nagging and preaching and not alowing him to truly be himself and develop as an individual with his unique personality and aspirations.
I met people who had lost their job during a year with Jupiter in the 10th house of the SR chart, and the SR looked good overall. But they had been doing a job that was not satisfying, for sure not on the long run. So, they were asking "why did I lose the job when I had Jupiter in the 10th house of the SR?". The answer was obvious. They were supposed to work on something else that was in their true calling, something that would give them satisfaction.
But of course, there are also many, many cases in which the 10th house values chart reveals itself as a propeller in ones career, and that is magnificent.

Ciao Georgiana, finalmente ho bisogno di un consiglio. 7
giugno 1973 0re 3.45 Motta di Livenza. Escludendo Miami che era forse la
migliore (anche se la sesta casa che è quella che interessa di più è coinvolta
poco e male), è meglio Verona o Barcellona come alternativa? A Verona avrebbe
giove in cuspide 10/11 con plutone in 2, Saturno in prima e marte in 8. A
barcellona avrebbe venere in cuspide5/6 che trovo stupendo assieme a giove in
11. Da non dimenticare che giove transita in 6 casa ancora a lungo formando dei
trigoni interessanti. Ad ogni modo mi preoccupa però la combinata
saturno/plutone in 2 e marte in 8. In entrambi i contesti le ho già detto come
esorcizzare la 7 visto che asc e sole si trovano appunto in 7. Ti ringrazio. Se hai qualcosa di meglio accetto

Ho visto e ho capito che si tratta di una situazione di salute, forse una operazione. In questo caso, credo che va meglio il Giove nella prima casa che ha una stupenda forza di protegere la salute. Allora io ho trovato Piura, Peru. Va bene anche Lima, Peru, soprattutto se essiste la possibilita di essere nata 10 minuti avanti. Tra Lima e Piura esiste un volo diretto.

I noticed and understood that this person is confronting herself with a health issue, probably a surgery. In this case, I believe that it is best to have Jupiter in the first house, which has an amazing force to protect the health. Therefore, I found Piura, Peru to be best. Works fine also Lima, Peru, especially if exists the possibility to be born 10 minutes before. Lima is connected to Piura through a direct flight.
