What can we expect in the next year 2024?

We are currently on the verge of major world wide transformations that will impact each of us at a personal level, as well. 

With Pluto decisively stepping into the sign of Aquarius we can expect big shifts in communication and technology.  

Jupiter will enter Gemini on May 26th, 2024 and will stay there until June 9th, 2025.  Jupiter in Gemini will only help the new communication technologies to be integrated into everyday life. I see this as a general acceptance of the new face of communication and AI.  

What to expect:

• New technologies will be presented to the world. Some of them might be shocking and will take social interaction to a new level. 
• Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be integrated into many jobs and professional activities. New jobs will be created. 
• AI will become much more performant than it has been.
• AI will be integrated into the already known messaging applications (WhatsApp, Messenger, IG, etc). People will be able to send automated messages pre-created by AI.  Some platforms already have this application, but in the next year, this will become a standard or simply be used more. 
• A new networking channel will become very popular.

At a personal level, this will be a very important year for people who have the Sun, the Moon or the Ascendant in Taurus or Gemini. 

For the Taurus people (Sun, Moon or Ascendant in Taurus), the first part of the year, before May 26th will be very important and will bring beautiful surprises. 

The rest of the year will primarily be important for Gemini, especially the ones born in June, as Jupiter will revolve a lot around those astrological degrees. Therefore if your Sun, Moon or Ascendant are in Gemini, expect a year with important positive shifts. You may make a great professional decision, start an important project, improve your health, fall in love, etc.  Some of these changes will have an impact for the next 12 years! At the same time, given that Saturn in Pisces will be still forming a square to the sign of Gemini, these changes will feel in a way forced by destiny and necessary. There can be some external pressures and obstacles, but they will only make you more resilient and certain that change needs to happen.

The date of April 8,2024 will be particularly important for most people, as there will be a Total Solar Eclipse taking place at the same time with the conjunction Mars-Saturn. This conjunction is particularly treacherous, therefore, it will be important to be very careful, cautious and not make rash decisions or actions during April, especially between April 1st-25th. This conjunction will mainly impact the mutable signs: Pisces, Virgo, Sagittarius and Gemini. It will feel impactful also if you have the Moon or the Ascendant in any of these signs.

On the contrary, the month of May will be quite beneficial for most, as Venus and Jupiter will join forces in a conjunction in Taurus.  Taurus people, but also those who have Ascendant or the Moon in Taurus, especially at the last degrees will benefit from it even more.  September Virgos and January Capricorns will also enjoy the month of May. It will feel rejuvenating and exciting! 

Nonetheless, it is important to keep in mind that this is general information and that in certain cases the situation might be different. For this reason, I always advise checking the personal Solar Return and Lunar Returns to see how things are truly unfolding for you in particular.  We can also change and improve the Solar Return and Lunar Returns if the predictions presented for that month or year don't look favorable. The Solar Return chart and the Lunar Return charts are wonderful tools to no longer feel helpless in the face of challenges. Knowing what to expect would also prepare us to know how to act accordingly. 

As a side note, given that we are approaching New Year's Eve, I would like to encourage you all to already start putting into action your New Year's resolutions, while the Moon is still Waxing until December 25th.  On January 1st, the Moon will already be Waning, therefore it will not be a good time to start new activities. Moreso, Mercury will be stationary on that date, so it will not give traction to new plans. In that case, it would be best to put into action the New Year's resolutions only starting with January 11th, when there will be a New Moon in Capricorn.

Jupiter in the 10th house of the Solar Return

A few important facts

As I always say, it is important to have in mind the whole interpretation of the Solar Return. One single aspect or planetary position can mean a lot or not that much...

That being said, the Solar Return should always be interpreted as a whole, and also in combination with the transits and the predispositions in the natal chart.

Another thing to keep in mind is the level of evolution of the person in question, the stage of personal development. A person with self-defeating patterns, who isn't willing to break through their own self-limiting beliefs, will benefit much less from a wonderful astrological configuration of a Solar Return, than a person with healthier patterns. In short, a negative mindset attracts negative outcomes, while a positive mindset, well, naturally attracts good things.

The meaning of the 10th house in the Solar Return

The 10th house of the Solar Return represents our social status, our achievements and our life purpose. This is not only correlated to one's career, but also to other aspects of life that are important to us. It can also point out achievements in one's relationships, health, money, or simply a breakthrough in something that matters to us.  It is important to be reminded that success is not only related to money and career.  Success can mean having great health, great relationships, a loving family, having a lot of free time to invest in your passions, having peace of mind, and so forth. Success can also mean a breakthrough or conquering something that previously seemed unattainable. For example, some people can't swim, or are afraid of flying or have different phobias, like speaking in public.  Conquering that one thing that initially seemed unattainable can be seen in astrology as 10th-house success.

The 10th house is symbolically associated with the planet Saturn, therefore it is all about one's life mission and life purpose. We each have to carry some form of work that serves society to a bigger scale. This is why the 10th house is the main indicator of the career and profession.

The meaning of planet Jupiter

Jupiter is the planet of expansion. Everything that Jupiter "touches" becomes greater, generous, overflowing, and expansive. It can even point to enlightenment, as Jupiter naturally rules Sagittarius and Pisces, which are both very spiritual star signs. Jupiter is all about traditional values, higher knowledge, but also about being connected to your Higher Self and being divinely guided.

How can a Solar Return chart influence us

The Solar Return chart, in my opinion, is a more pragmatic astrological chart. It is so, because, through its planetary placements, it shows what we can actually expect to happen during a specific year.  It's not that if we see Jupiter in the 10th house, nothing happens, and that there was only a potential that never came to fruition.  Something will definitely happen. Now, there is always a potential that can go higher, or even much higher. As specified above, benefiting from an astrological configuration to its maximum is dependent on our own level of self-awareness and personal evolution. Are we living in gratitude and in a proactive attitude towards our goals, or are we wallowing in self-pity and negative mindsets?

What it means to have Jupiter in the 10th house of the Solar Return

Jupiter in the 10th house of the Solar Return always indicates some form of emancipation in one's life during that year.  There will certainly be progress in one or several life sectors. Yes, it can literally mean progress in one's career and social status, or it could mean that there will be one particular aspect of life that improves.  It could be the year when you manage to do something that you've always wanted to do, but, for whatever reason, you couldn't up until that point.  It could be a year when you get the job of your dreams, or get married. Or it could be the year of your university or school graduation and you receive a lot of appreciation and praise. It could, as well, be a year when you become more popular, or even famous, or you receive an award for your work. 

Jupiter in the 10th house of the Solar Return always works in your favor, but sometimes it could work in such a way that you would not think of or would not deem positive.  For example, in many cases I noticed that, with Jupiter in the 10th, some people get fired from their job! Yes, that's right! But in all cases, they were doing a job that they didn't like, and then they felt compelled and inspired to start doing or applying for the job that they've always wanted!  In this case, Jupiter works as a push. It pushes you to find the purpose of your life.  Let's not forget that the 10th house is associated with life purpose and life mission, your authentic role in society. That being said, the Universe doesn't allow you to work in a job you dislike while having Jupiter in the 10th house in the Solar Return!

The closer Jupiter is to the Midheaven (MC) of the Solar Return, the more influence it has over the chart, and the more positive the Solar Return becomes.  Jupiter conjunct the MC is a great aspect to have in the Solar Return. It almost guarantees that the year will be spectacular from many points of view, sometimes even in spite of other negative combinations in the Solar Return chart. Jupiter conjunct the MC could trump other detrimental planetary combinations in the Solar Return, provided that the chart overall is not all too negative. 

Why Jupiter on the Midheaven of the Solar Return is so powerful

Jupiter conjunct the Midheaven (MC) is beneficial, not only because it becomes the main ruler of the chart, but also because it ends up influencing multiple life sectors. Due to its conjunction to the MC (the 10th house cusp), it will both influence the 9th and the 10th houses. 

Also, given that Jupiter rules both Sagittarius and Pisces, it will positively influence two other houses in the Solar Return chart, houses that have Sagittarius and Pisces on their cusps.  For example (see the example in the picture above), if the Ascendant of the Solar Return falls in Leo, and Jupiter is in Taurus and conjuncts the MC, then, due to its rulership, Jupiter will influence 4 houses in the chart: the 9th & 10th and the 5th & 8th. Sagittarius is on the cusp of the 5th house and Pisces is on the cusp of the 8th house.  All these life sectors represented by these astrological houses will benefit during this Solar Return year, only due to the fact that Jupiter is elevated in the chart.

No planet is a lonely island!

Despite the great benefits that Jupiter can bring by being placed in the 10th house, one should not aim to just place Jupiter there and disregard the rest of the chart. Remember that one single positive aspect cannot overturn the whole signification of a super negative chart. For instance, don't place Jupiter in the 10th house if you leave a stellium in the 12th house! It will not do you too much good. Always think holistically when planning a Solar Return chart.

NEW MOON in SCORPIO (Nov 13th) acts like the Tarot card the Tower!

This New Moon happened at 20 degrees in Scorpio and was in conjunction with Mars and opposite Uranus. This was a highly Scorpionic New Moon: apart from it being in Scorpio, it also happened at the 20th degree which corresponds, again, to Scorpio. Moreso, it was in conjunction with Mars, which is one of the two planets that rule Scorpio.

This New Moon is pushing for major changes in one's life. With Mars opposite Uranus, things will never be the same. Something had to be completely transformed or left behind. Some aspects of our lives have been shattered. I symbolically associate this New Moon with the Tower card in Tarot.

As advice, embrace change, don't fight it, accept change in yourself and in the situation. This change is more at a psychological level. You are being pushed to cut something off from your life, to be the one who pulls the rug in a situation, so to speak. Something is no longer working or serving your purpose and you need to address this. The Universe wants you to liberate yourself from the psychological shackles that you have been holding onto. It could be that you need to change a pattern in your personality or to tackle a major aspect of your life that is no longer giving you satisfaction.

I see that, for many people, the events of these days will trigger trauma responses in them. That will have a stronger impact than before, and it's a good thing, because your biggest fears will be brought to the surface and you will be able to see them clearly and understand better the traumas that had caused them. You will finally be able to see what is blocking you from becoming who you want to be and stopping you from achieving what you most desire. You will see the pattern in your behavior and in the way your mind works, and you will have the opportunity to free yourself from that. Don't be afraid! Do it fearlessly! Sometimes, in order for things to be looking up, they have to first crumble down.

Best things to do during these days, especially until the Full Moon:

• Go for a major introspection.

See what you need to change in yourself to become your better version. Maybe you need to let go of a habit, an attitude, or a person. Observe your behavioral patterns and remove what is no longer serving your purpose (this could be connected to trauma responses).

• Declutter your home.

Throw away or give away things that you no longer need or use: take the object in your hands and feel its energy. If it's evoking positive feelings, keep it, if it's evoking sadness or emotional strain, give it away. Go on a major cleaning spree, then smudge your home all around with sage or palo santo and say a prayer.

• Pray every day.

At this time of the year, the "walls" between our world and the "other worlds" or the other dimensions are thinner... You could have clearer communication with your Spirit Guides and with the Angels. You could also get more easily in touch with your loved ones who are no longer among us, but please do not call them through seances, as that could invite other "unwanted" spirits, as well. Your loved ones could be contacted through dreams and meditation, or they would leave you different signs or messages around you.

                       What is really going on in the world?  

           Who will be elected President of the United States?

Ok, so, where do I begin?

First of all, there is a reason for which I happen to post this on Mercury retrograde.  This is a post that I wanted to publish a long time ago, but constantly hesitated.  However, I decided to post one day before the great US election.  I certainly believe this presidential election will be a historic moment.  Irrespective of who gets elected, the 4 next years will be greatly transformational for everyone in this world.

We are living very unique times and the world as we know it is changing.  There is no turning back and this is how it is supposed to be.  This is not because of Trump or any other political interest.  2020-2021 are supposed to be the most transformative and tough years of this century - well, we will have another hit in 2080, but that's another kettle of fish since most of us won't live to tell. 

Experiencing the great conjunction Saturn-Pluto is never something easy.  This takes place in Capricorn and, simply put, it means the deconstruction of political and social structures and the crumbling of governmental institutions. 

The Great Malefic (Saturn) meets the Great Transformer (Pluto).  With Pluto, nothing stays the same anymore.  It burns everything to the ground only to start building it all again.  Saturn only makes things very difficult, frustrating, and restrictive (wearing masks, stay at home rules, less traveling, no more work/jobs, social distancing, etc.). 

This year we have had Jupiter as well in the equation:  Jupiter conjunct Saturn-Pluto in Capricorn.  In this case, Jupiter makes it all scandalous and intriguing, but also giving benefits mostly to those who already hold the power:  the rich become... richer.  

Jupiter also inflates what it touches, so we see how some institutions use their power to instigate more useless fear.  It all seems of proportions.  We all have a choice, either to live in fear or in hope.  So, the influence of Jupiter could be seen as either good or bad, it depends whether you see the half-full or the half-empty part of the glass.  

So, what I am saying here is that some institutions/companies, etc., will make it all seem more impressive than it really is, either for profit or for other interests.  Of course, the money rules!  

Now, if you choose to inflate your fears and wallow in low frequencies/energies, then Jupiter won't give much to you.  If you choose to see the bright side and elevate your spirit, then the opportunities (Jupiter gives many even when in bad aspects) will come to you.  This happens because Jupiter is the ruler of spiritual evolution and elevation.

If you wonder why all this struggle now and all these changes, then you have to look further into the future.  Mark the year: 2025 - things will never be the same again - a New World.  

Our whole earth is going through a catharsis and is stepping into new energy - the age of super-advanced communication and technology.  Not only that, but also the age of cutting-edge healing therapies (through (bio)energy).  Many people will discover their calling and will tap into their true power.  We are much more than we can currently see.  We are eternal vibrational beings having a temporary human experience. 

Our Earth is currently going through a battle between the good and the evil.  Do not give in to fear.  We can make it!

I see even more changes in 2021.  We will experience a very strong square between Uranus in Taurus and Saturn in Aquarius.  January and February 2021 will be the most difficult months of the year (Mars-Uranus square to Jupiter-Saturn).  This square is very detrimental to the world economy.  

Uranus in Taurus is not at all merciful when it comes to finances and goods.  In the next 3 years, there will be many changes in the financial world.  No more payments in cash, only card/electronic payments.  Most people will work online and some jobs will be substituted by technology. 

The beginning of 2021 could as well bring a major war (hopefully not!!) - the conjunction Mars-Uranus square to Jupiter-Saturn.

Who will win the presidency of the United States?

My technique is quite simple.  I check the Solar Returns of both candidates and look into the transits as well.  I always consider the Solar Return of the place where they actually spend their birthdays.

Ok, let's begin:

Donald Trump (born 14 June 1946, 10:54 AM, New York City, NY).  We know for a fact that Mr. Trump spent his birthday in Bedminster, New Jersey, playing golf.  This happened on June 13th at 8 AM.  As you know, the Solar Return doesn't necessarily take place on the very same date as the official birthday.

We can see below both the natal chart (left) and the Solar Return 2020 (right).

We see the ASR (Ascendant of the Solar Return) in the 11th house and the Sun in between the 11th-12th houses.  We also see Venus in the 11th house - now this aspect alone indicates that Trump is getting a lot of support for his candidacy from his fans.  A good and strong 11th house in a Solar Return means open doors and win in a contest-like situation.  The 11th house is the house of supporters, fans, the house of people seen as masses. 

Jupiter-Saturn-Pluto in the 7th house means a lot of accusations and open enemies.  He will be confronted a lot and accused.  The opposition is already accusing him of "being the cause of this pandemic", which, of course, is nonsense, because this pandemic and economic crisis would have started even if the USA had had a different president.  It was simply "written in the stars"...

So, this triple conjunction in the 7th house of his SR is bringing in a lot of war-like situations, accusations, even a lawsuit, and a lot of hate.  Jupiter in the 7th house is not helping too much in this situation.  However, this is politics and it was something to be expected.  The best way he could navigate through this is if he punches first and starts revealing stuff that throws his opposition off base. 

His international relations are not easy either (triple conjunction of Mars, Neptune, and the Moon in the 9th house of his SR).  I find Mars-Neptune to be a particularly detrimental conjunction, more so when it squares his natal Sun.  I see here evil forces interfering with his health and trying to manipulate him.  He could face the so-called psychic attacks.  I also see strong beliefs here that may go against all odds.  Nonetheless, he has many battles ahead of him for this SR year. 

On a different note, Mars in the 9th house also shows the many trips he made for his campaign. 

Uranus in the 10th house with dominant Jupiter-Pluto shows a change in his work and career.  He will make many changes in the way he works and in his collaborations. 

There is another element that stands out here:  the transit of the North Node in conjunction with his natal Sun in the 10th house.  The North Node transits play a major role when it comes to important life events, in this case, the presidential elections.  

The elevated North Node conjunct to his Sun is a destiny moment and comes as a positive uplifting astral influence.  It is also a return of the North Node, since he has it in conjunction with the Sun in his natal chart as well.  I mentioned in my other article about Trump (Donald Trump vs. the eclipse, August 24, 2017) that he will be the main character of a world-changing event, that he has a very important mission in regards to the destiny of the US.  This will come into full force now, once with the transit of the North Node over his natal Sun. 

The North Node has a Jupiter-like influence, which means its transit is very similar to that of Jupiter.  The South Node, to the contrary, has a Saturn-like influence (sanctioning effect).  The South Node is always opposite the North Node. 

Joe Biden (born 20 November 1942, 8:30 AM, Scranton, PA).  Mr. Biden's Solar Return of 2019 (the current ongoing one that will impact the elections) took place on November 19th at 11:58 PM (almost midnight) in Atlanta, Georgia.  Mr. Biden spent the day of November 20th in Atlanta because that is when the fifth Democratic debate took place.  For this reason, I assumed that he was already in Atlanta on the midnight of November 19th-20th. 

See below both charts, natal and the ongoing Solar Return 2019:

If we look at the Solar Return, we see the ASR in the 9th house and the Sun in the 4th house.  Also, Venus is in the 4th house.  Uranus (important changes and impact) in the 9th house.  The dominant planet here is the Moon (conjunct the Ascendant).  We also see positive transits to his natal Sun on the day of the elections (Jupiter-Saturn-Pluto sextile to his natal Sun). 

The North Node does not make major aspects to his natal planets. 

The ASR in the 9th house gives higher visibility in the international arena, and it also brings more trips and international connections.  He may get more popularity from the external, international public.  

The Sun in the 4th house is not an emancipation element in a Solar Return, and becoming the president of the United States must bring true emancipation for one's career.  However, having also Venus in the 4th house, indicates that he finds great popularity in certain US states, especially in his natal state, Pennsylvania.  The Sun in the 4th house also shows many relocations during the SR year, which is natural, if we think that he had to travel all around the US for this campaign. 

Neptune in the 7th house of his Solar Return shows collaborators that are unreliable.  He might associate himself with people that have a bad image and that would spoil things for him.  It is best that he acts and fights on his own and not rely on outside spokespeople (especially since he has Saturn and Uranus in the 7th house of his natal chart). 

Neptune in the 7th house of the SR could also point to his association with the many celebrities (movie stars and famous singers) that promote him on social media.  He gets a very good back up from that side, but his main political collaborators are not reliable or don't make for a good image. 

Another interesting aspect is that the election date (November 3rd) takes place within the 20 days before Joe Biden's next Solar Return.  

One of the rules of the Solar Return Astrology (see the book Transits and Solar Returns by Ciro Discepolo) is that the 20 days before and after the Solar Return are the most important and impactful.  Therefore, for sure this campaign will open new doors for Joe Biden.

Before I give my opinion, as a disclaimer, I should mention that I am not into politics and have no political affiliation.  I also do not have personal opinions of either of the two US candidates.  I am not even an American citizen and I do not live in the US.  

I am viewing this only through the lens of the Solar Return Astrology.  I strongly believe that the Solar Return gives great insight into the year that we are to experience, and the most important part is that we can change it by relocating on our birthday.

My conclusion, after doing this astrological analysis, is that Donald Trump will win the US Presidential election 2020.  This will not be an easy path for him, and he will receive a lot of hate and opposition, but it seems this is something he has to go through as part of his life path.  His current Solar Return looks more important and impactful than the one of Joe Biden.  For this reason, I came to the conclusion that he will win this election.

It has been a while since I last posted on the blog.  I took a break because I decided to focus more on private consultations.  Besides that, I was not fully satisfied with the direction that my blog had taken.

There is a small local company (Komiaviatrans) that operates flights to Inta, and these are not listed on the commercial websites. They have airplanes with propellers.

In order to exorcise Uranus in the 4th house, create a more high-tech environment in your home: buy a new computer and some other gadgets. It is all about creating a modern home and add in as much technology as possible. You can also change the arrangement in the house. Another good idea is to live between two homes or change your home. The 4th house is also the office where you work, so changes here are also welcome and in tune with Uranus. Giving more to your family in terms of attention and time is also good.

Dear Sergio,

For finances, I think that the best would be Inta, Russia, but I couldn't find current flights to that location. It is directly connected only with Syktyvkar, Russia (SCW - IATA code). 

Another option that is good for your plans is Makaryev, Russia, at about 250 km driving north of Nizhny Novgorod. I made the chart for Nizhny Novgorod, but the ASR is too close to the 12th house cuspid, so for this reason I advise  you to drive more north.

Another option is Roma, Italy, though this is not good for finances expansion, but it is good for health and general protection.

I was so glad to read your post! Thank you for your thoughtful analysis of my health issue and for the new recommendation about RSM's location. After many years dealing with cancer, I've modified my nutrition towards fresh and healthy food. Recently I've also tried to fast for few days a month. It's hard but I've seen some good results in my blood test. 

However, it's hard to change the old habits; I was used to eat a lot of carbohydrates. It takes a strong discipline to pursue an healthy lifestyle and look after myself - as a cancer patient - it's like to have a second job.

Thank you for your message. Yes, eating less and more fresh and healthy food always makes a difference. Also fasting is very good, because it helps the body to preserve more energy and use it to heal itself. Donald Trump vs. the eclipse 

I wanted to write a few things about Donald Trump and the 21st August eclipse. Everyone is talking about its major influence on how things are going to develop during the next 6 months. Why is it so special, since there are total solar eclipses every 18 months? 

Well, indeed every 18 months, on certain parts of this globe, total solar eclipses can be seen. Most of the time, their observation point happens to be either over the ocean or across an inhabited location like the desert or Antarctica. The previous one, for example, happened to be across the Indian and the Pacific Ocean. So, when it happens that the whole arch of the eclipse falls across the whole width of the USA, it is a big deal. The previous one that spanned across the USA was on 26th of February 1979.

Here we could be talking about "coincidences" or about "big coincidences", since it happens that the whole eclipse crosses over the USA and, moreover, conjuncts the birth Ascendant of the USA's president, during his first year of occupancy at the White House. And the president is also a very controversial character. 

I heard many astrologers saying that this eclipse will mean the end of Donald Trump as a president, because of the conjunction between the eclipse's meeting point and the president's Ascendant. It is to be noted that the eclipse point also conjuncts Trump's natal Mars. 

So, what does this really mean? Is this eclipse marking an important period in Donald Trump's life? Yes, it does. 

Does this eclipse have a special meaning for the United States? Yes, it has.

Therefore, I wanted to have a look at it from the standpoint of Active Astrology.

Lets have a look first at the transits on the day of the eclipse (21st of August) in comparison to Donald Trump's natal chart. See below:

As we can see, the New Moon (Sun-Moon conjunction) falls at almost 29 degrees in Leo, where Trump's Ascendant is. His Mars is at approx. 26 degrees in Leo, so also in conjunction with the New Moon. 

The New Moon in Leo over the Ascendant indicates a new start, a new approach in expressing leadership, a transformation. It could mean either a fall into power or a fall out of power. It is a predestined path that is starting now, once with this eclipse, and it will certainly impact his presidential mandate. Usually, the events that follow the eclipse that conjuncts the Ascendant, are seen as the effect of a crisis, a personal crisis. You see yourself trapped in the context of a crisis, and the only way to overcome it is through a radical transformation, a new beginning or through an assertive action (Mars conjunct the eclipse point). 

The important aspect to notice is that the eclipse point, together with Trump's Ascendant, forms a strong trine with transit Uranus. This truly looks like a powerful transformative energy that urges him to make the necessary changes and also adopt an extravagant attitude. Uranus gives sudden original ideas and solutions to this personal crisis. It is a rule breaker and a game changer. Important to note is that Trump has the Sun-Uranus conjunction in his natal chart, in the 10th house (the way he uses power). I totally think this is not a coincidence that he is the president of the United States at this moment. This looks like a special mission for him, during a time when the USA needed a restart. I think he represents a wake up call for the US transformation, moreover, for the collective transformation. But this transformation seems to be forced in a way, and all the burden will fall onto the citizens of the USA...



Donald Trump vs. the United States vs. the eclipse

If we analyse the chart of Donald Trump (14 June 1946, 10:54 AM, Jamaica, Queens, NY) together with the chart of the United States (Declaration of Independence, 4th July 1776, 4:50 PM, Philadelphia, PA), we notice that the Mars of the president is in perfect opposition with the Moon of the USA. 

The Moon in the chart of a nation represents the subconscious fears of the collective, the need for personal security and for having a safe home, a family, but also it is about belonging. The Moon is even more important in this theme, since the Sun sign of the USA is Cancer, very much synonim with the "American Dream" that the nation promotes, which is owning a home. More than owning, it is about security, but also about the ideal family image, the mother, the father and the child sitting round the table and having dinner. Thinking that the USA is in the sign of Cancer, we also understand the emphasis that Americans put on food, having their fridge always stuffed with all sort of foods, and then gathering around the table for a family great meal. 

Well, there could be more to say about the family/mother archetype that the USA represents, but let's return to Trump vs. USA.

The Moon of the USA is in the sign of Aquarius and in the 3rd house, which indicates that the USA is a space for nurturing inventive ideas, scientific inovations, but also for nurturing the sense of personal freedom. The thing is that the Moon is about fluctuating emotions and primary instincts, while Aquarius is a mental sign. The USA nation holds a very idealistic emotional conviction about their personal freedom. But the fluctuating Moon might not allow them to fully see the picture. This Moon falls in the 3rd house, which impacts the communication, the information and the media. So, basically, this is the mind of the US collective. 

Now, Trump's Mars and Ascendant oppose this collective Moon of the USA, which means that people are feeling threatened by what Trump is planning to do and how he is taking action from his office in the White House. He is triggering their personal and emotional security. 

Even more interesting, the eclipse point, while conjuncting Trump's Ascendant and Mars, was opposed to the USA Aquarius Moon, a 2 degrees orb opposition. This again indicates that Trump's actions will have an impact on how the nation feels related to their personal freedom and security. Given the fact that it is an opposition with the eclipse, I see it challenging. As mentioned above, the Moon represents the family/mother/child archetype. At the same time, the eclipse point, opposing the Moon of the USA nation, means that there will be 'forces' menacing the personal and emotional security of the citizens, possibly their homes or anything that represents a habitat or a nurturing source.

Another interesting observation for the synastry between Trump's chart and the USA theme, is the conjunction between Trump's 10th house Sun-Uranus conjunction with the USA's Mars in the nation's 7th house. Mars in the 7th house of the USA represents a provocative feature in the way that the country has been conducting its politics. Mars in the 7th house is the war, the agression. The 7th house represents both the friends and the foes. Since the Sun-Uranus conjunction of Trump impacts the nation's Mars, this could be an indication that he will be riding with the wild force that Mars in the 7th house represents, as I said, a provocative and disruptive force (Mars conjunct Uranus). 



What does Active Astrology say?

The total eclipse should impact the events for a period of about 6 months from now on. So, let's look at Donald Trump's Solar Return for this year.

We know for sure that the president was at the White House on the day of his birthday this year, so the chart is accurate. 

We can easily see that his chart truly respects the rules of Active Astrology. In a word, I would call it "protective". 

Jupiter is in tight conjunction with the Ascendant of the Solar Return (ASR), which ensures that whatever happens this year, whether good or bad, he will be landing on his feet, just like a cat. He can go out of a dangerous situation like through a miracle. "Luck" seems to be the second word for this chart. Therefore, looking at this chart, Trump won't be leaving the White House office at least until his next Solar Return in 2018, if he still longs to be there. 

Venus in the 7th house also ensures that he will have good interactions with the people that he collaborates within his functions. It is again a sign that he will slide through all offenses that are being brought to him. He will also change most of his collaborators and officials according to his plans (Uranus in the 7th house).

There could be a radical change in the interpretation of this chart only if he was born at least 20 minutes earlier. In that case, Mars would be closer to the Midheaven, which indicates troubles and accusations for his use of power. Also, Venus would pass onto the 8th house, no longer protecting the 7th sector of business relationships and politics, leaving only the rebelious Uranus in the 7th house.

Now, looking at Saturn in the 3rd house and at the stellium in the 9th house, which also includes Mars, we understand why Donald Trump is dealing with such bad advertising over the media. He is and will continue to be trashed all over the media. He will face hostility in the press, but also in the public opinion.

Saturn in transit is currently conjuncting Trump's natal Moon and opposing the natal 10th house Sun-Uranus conjunction. This is one of the worst aspects in astrology. The Sun-Saturn opposition acts like a loss of power, a discreditation, losing the leadership, or at least the image of it. In its best interpretation, it points out to a great struggle to maintain the power, to perform in a way that keeps him on the floating level. Saturn conjunct with the natal Moon speaks about the personal crisis, the dark night of the soul, the depression. I think Trump is facing his own fears, as well. Therefore he seems like a perfect match for the current US collective emotional vibe. Saturn is transiting Trump's natal 4th house and opposing the planets in the 10th house. This puts a lot of burden on being able to handle both career and his family attributions. 

However, during this period, Trump benefits of the Jupiter transit which is trining his natal Sun. This is a great aspect. It will not last too long, but during these unstable after-eclipse moments, it is very soothing and stabilizing on all levels. The aspect will be strong and supportive only until 23rd of September 2017.

The 3 planets in the 9th house mark his connection with the international politics. With Mars there, I can see that he will be facing hostility also from the foreign side. But this Mars in the 9th house could also mean war with a foreign nation. He is already in a dispute with North Korea. Let's just hope that Venus in Trump's 7th house will help in mending good diplomatic agreements eventually. But in the context of the eclipse, the diplomatic agreement might just be a temporary one. 

The Ascendant of the Solar Return falls in his natal 2nd house, which shows that his current major preoccupation in his function as a president, is doing good business for the USA, making money and rasing the economy through any mean and method. No wonder he summoned the NATO allies to pay their "contribution" and buy military munition from the USA, in exchange for the alliance's protective wing.

As a conclusion, given his chart, I personally think that despite of the accusations and prosecusions coming from outside the USA, but also from the interior, Trump will still ride the wave and manage to come out in a gracious way, at least until his next Solar Return in June 2018. The current transits are harsh, it is true. It is as if walking on a road and the people around are throwing with stones at him. But I think that Jupiter on the ASR and Venus in the 7th house of the Solar Return 2017, will help him take the right decisions, at least for himself and for the USA.
